Funding & Membership
Funding
FWC operations are funded primarily through membership and individual donations. Proceeds from fund-raising events, private foundation grants, and in-kind donations augment our financial base. Among fund raisers, a guided horseback tour of San Felasco State Part has become an annual event. We also hold garage sales, baby showers, raffles and this year held two art auctions in concert with Planet Earth Gallery.

FWC is especially fortunate in the support it receives from area businesses which donate in-kind services that range from animal foods and medical supplies to printing services and novelty merchandise for sale at fund-raising events.
